Security People Inc. dba Digilock develops its products with the primary goal of minimizing or eliminating the use of non-renewable resources and waste. Digilock products undergo third-party testing to ensure that the products meet RoHS and REACH guidelines.

For RoHS compliance, Digilock lock products do not contain intentionally added heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE above the maximum concentrations and with exceptions are embodied in the Annex of the RoHS EU Directive 2011/65/EU + RoHS EU Directive 2015/863.

For REACH compliance, Digilock lock products do not contain intentionally added Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in excess of 0.1% by weight as listed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) under the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) per the ECHA 20/12/2010. In addition, Digilock utilizes recycled and recyclable packaging to significantly reduce solid waste. Digilock warehouses and offices utilize materials that are renewable, enhance worker productivity, and foster environmental stewardship.
